How to Make Daily Digital Product Sales Without Feeling Salesy

 

I often post screenshots of my daily sales on my IG story and people ask, “how do you make sales every day?!”

I make sales every day because I sell every day. 

If the thought of selling every day feels overwhelming or makes you cringe, I get it. But here’s a mindset that changed everything for me:

✨ Selling is serving.

When you make a sale, you’re helping someone solve a problem or reach a goal. That’s not pushy—that’s valuable. So it’s time for a little mindset shift: Selling isn’t something you do to people, it’s something you do for people. 💡

Here's how you can make sales every single day—without being salesy:

1️⃣ Post every day on your Instagram feed
Show up in front of your audience 4 - 7 times a week. Post a mix of Growth Content and Conversion Content - Growth Content grows your audience, Conversion Content converts followers into sales. 

2️⃣ Post an IG story every day
Instagram Stories are gold for soft selling! Your next clients and customers watch your story. Share behind-the-scenes peeks, testimonials, or how you’re using your own offers. No need for a hard sell—just give people a window into what you offer and how it benefits them.

3️⃣ Send an email every day
Yes, every day if possible. The more consistently you’re in your audience’s inbox, the more likely they are to buy from you. Again, this doesn’t have to be a hard pitch. Offer value, tell stories, and casually mention your product. Think of it as building a relationship with your list over time.

Soft Selling vs. Hard Selling

You’re not going to be in people’s faces screaming, “Buy my stuff!” That’s hard selling. Instead, you’ll soft sell every day—gently reminding people how your product can help them without coming off too strong. It’s about serving, not pressuring.

Soft selling looks like:

  • Sharing a client success story

  • Giving tips related to your product then sharing the link to your product in case people need more help

  • Mentioning your product as the natural solution to a problem

When you make soft selling part of your daily routine, you’ll be selling regularly without even feeling like you are.

Automate your sales funnel

8 Mistakes That Make Content Batching Harder Than It Should Be

 

These 8 mistakes will make content batching WAY harder than it needs to be:

Mistake 1: No clear strategy

Posting without a strategy leads to random, scattered content.

You need a content strategy that is 60% growth content and 40% conversion content if you have less than 1000 followers. (Flip those percentages if you have more than 1K.)

You need to understand what makes YOU different and infuse your brand + message with it. 

And you need to know your audience like you know your bestie. If you don’t, how will you create content they want to engage with?

Mistake 2: Perfectionism

You’re spending HOURS trying to perfect every single post, stressing over the tiniest details. But done is better than perfect! Get it out there and move on. 😫✨ Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction.

Mistake 3: Task jumping

Don’t batch one post at a time—it’s exhausting! Jumping from writing to video editing to graphic design kills your focus. Focus on creating ALL captions, then ALL graphics, etc.

Mistake 4: Trying to batch too much at once

Attempting to batch 3 months’ worth of content in one sitting can lead some creators to burnout and mediocre content. Start with 1 month or even 2 weeks, and work your way up if you want to. (What is “too much” content to batch will differ from creator to creator!)

Mistake 5: Not repurposing content

Why create new content every time? You’re sitting on a goldmine of ideas you can repurpose! 🧠 Take your best-performing posts and turn them into stories, carousels, or reels.

Mistake 6: Not tracking results

If you’re not paying attention to what’s working, you’re flying blind. Check your analytics to see what’s getting traction and double down on that if you want your content to actually perform well! ⏳

Mistake 7: Writing your captions from scratch

You can use caption templates like the ones inside my Content Batching Blueprint (these captions have brought in HUNDREDS of sales for me) or you can repurpose your old captions.

Mistake 8: No clear niche

Without a niche, batching content becomes a nightmare. 😫 You’re stuck guessing what to post, trying to appeal to everyone. But when you have a clear niche, you know exactly what your audience wants, making content creation faster, easier, and more focused! 🎯

From Zero to 44K: My Proven Blueprint for Instagram Growth and Sales

 

With my content strategy, I reach almost half a million users every 30 days.

Plus, MOST of my sales come from my organic Instagram content. 

However, I have 44K followers and 12 years of content marketing experience.

What would I do if I had to build my Instagram account from scratch? 

Here’s exactly how I’d do it:

1. Post 7 times a week for the first 90 days

Consistency is key in the beginning. The more you post, the more your audience grows. You can decrease to 4-5 posts a week after your first 90 days if you need to.

2. Post 60% growth content and 40% conversion content

You want to grow your audience AND turn that audience into paying customers? There are 2 types of content that grow your following, and two types of content that nurture + convert that following. Your strategy needs to include all 4.

3. Create a $47 digital product

Why? So you can turn your content into cash every day. A low-ticket no-brainer offer is easy for people to say yes to, even if they’ve only just found your account. You can nurture these customers on the backend with emails and eventually pitch your higher ticket offers.

4. Pick a Super Niche

A Super Niche doesn’t mean you have to get hyper-specific about who you’re targeting. Instead, it’s more about honing in on your unique perspective or approach—what makes you stand out from the crowd. It’s not about narrowing down your audience; it’s about highlighting what sets your business apart.

5. Batch 1 month of content in 1 day

So you don’t have to stress about what to post every day. (My Content Batching Blueprint is here to help!) Spend one day batching all your content so you can focus on everything else in your business. Life can be stressful enough without adding content creation to the mix.

6. Post 1-5 stories every day, Monday - Friday.

And yes, you can batch 80% of these once a month too. Then from now on, your spontaneous stories can add to your story strategy instead of being your entire “strategy.”

Why Batching Your Content Is Easier Than You Think

 

By now, you know that I’m a big advocate for batching your content. I’m a systems girlie and it’s one of the MAIN systems I use to create consistent content without burning out. 

But I keep hearing this myth that you need to be “super organized” to batch content, and it’s just not true.

Sure, having a plan + system helps, but you don’t need to have your entire life color-coded and perfectly scheduled (unless you want to). Batching is about saving time and reducing the stress of content creation, not about being perfect.

When I first started batching, my process was all over the place—sticky notes, half-finished ideas, and way too many browser tabs. I’m much more “chaotic” than people would think lol. But that’s okay! You just need to start somewhere and be willing to dive in. Over time, it gets easier, and you’ll naturally find a system that works for you.

So, start small. Pick a couple of topics related to what you sell, set aside 2-3 hours, and focus on creating about 3-5 posts.

You don’t need to have it all figured out from the get-go. As you go, you’ll find your groove, and it’ll start to feel more natural.

As a result of batching your content, you’ll stay consistent on Instagram with more ease which will start to bring in consistent SALES + CLIENTS! 🎉💰

How I Boosted My Instagram Sales with Content Batching

 

I’ve been posting consistently on Instagram for the past year after taking a break from the app, and I want to share how it’s impacted my business. Because I get it—staying consistent can feel exhausting, especially if you're new to content creation, and you might be wondering if all that effort is truly worth it.

Spoiler alert: it's been amazing! Here’s a quick rundown of the results:

  • 700+ sales of digital products I released over Spring/Summer.

  • 14.7K new followers

  • Daily digital product sales (I rarely ever have a $0 day now.)

  • 10+ 4-figure clients

  • Dozens of incredible testimonials from creators and business owners who use my content batching process to stay consistent on IG without burning out. 

Not bad, right?

What’s cooler is that I know I could have had even better results, but I’ve had to put most of my focus on the behind-the-scenes of my business: creating new products and a new offer suite. Once I’m done with my business remodel, I’m so excited to see where I can really take my Instagram. 

Now, let's talk about the magic word here: consistency.

No doubt about it, I wouldn’t have seen these results if I hadn’t posted consistently. You can’t expect consistent sales if you’re not marketing consistently. 

But I get it, posting consistently can feel like a struggle - especially if you’re busy. (I’ve been neck deep in renovations for 2+ years so I feel your pain!)

The number one thing that has helped me stay consistent is batching my content. By setting aside just 1 day (or sometimes 2-3 hours each morning over 3 days) to plan and create a month’s worth of posts, I can show up consistently without the daily scramble. Batching has been a total game-changer for me - and for so many others in my community!

Another reason I’ve been able to stay so consistent with ease is that I’m genuinely experienced and passionate about what I do. I LOVE helping creators and business owners make passive income on Instagram without burning out from content creation. Trust me, it’s a lot easier to show up and post consistently when you’re truly excited about what you’re sharing!

So if you’re struggling to keep up with content creation, I want you to ask yourself:

1. Could I try batching my content? If I’ve already tried it, could I give it another go? If you don’t know where to start, use my content batching process! (Batching isn’t hard - sometimes it’s just new and new things take time to get used to.)
